The Mediterranean Visual Arts Club was formed by a group of design enthusiasts from Nanyang Polytechnic Muslim Soceity and Nur Ikhwan. Led by their founder, Remy Mahzam, the MVAC aims to educate the community about traditional artforms such as Calligraphy, Graffiti, Henna as well as the modern rendition of Calligraffiti made popular by Aerosol Arabic.
This is a volunteer based project where I design/crafted a full Flash website making use of XML to handle content. theMVAC was launched in October 2006 and so far it had been a great success having conducted afew workshops in the past year and acknowledge by organisations across the Muslim Society platform.
LESSON LEARNT =
Build a good website at a profit if I can. Build a good website at a loss if I must. But must always built a good website. But dont let people abuse that.
