Bismillah.. As it begins Doing this adventure to trad climb in Taiwan, I decided to bring you along on my journey.
The past few days I did my own soul searching on what I want to set out doing from now on. Ever since my fiancee left me all of a sudden, I did a double take on what I should do, and what I should not.
Eventually I came to the conclusion that I choose to live my life seeking adventures. As how I am. As how I love being. To discover and explore places and countries and set eye on the beautiful marvels of God’s creation. And help in my own deeper spiritual meaning in life. I admit, I am at one of the many crossroads in life. In one hand I do wish for a companion to share a part of me with. But not many actually call mountaineering romantic.
On a different note, I have been receiving afew questions on why I do what I do? Climbing mountains and facing sub zero temperature and willingly paying thousands just to experience it. To be honest I dont know why… Lol… Maybe you can help me figure it out.
That is where the idea of bringing you along for my adventure came from
So now, equipted with Singtel Bridge DataRoam which allows me unlimited mobile internet access in Taiwan, I will want to “hopefully” bring you along on this short 9 days trip by posting daily videos of that days.
Thats where the title “As it happens” come from
Just fyi, the actual climb will only be 4 days. 26th – 29th Dec if there’s chance, I might climb 1 more day on the 30th Dec. But…. That shall depend on the time so 25th will be RnR at Taipei, where I hope to visit Taipei’s Grand Mosque.
With that.. pack your bags, and lets go! Taiwan! Here we come! ^_^
