There are afew things Iv learned from travelling. One of it is to be humble. And I am still struggling and trying to always be humble. And one of the ways that I find humbling, is to push oneself of the edge to pursue something totally out of your comfort level.
And to seek knowledge not for the purpose of showing off to others. Or to tell others that you are right and others are wrong. Or to tell others that they are following the wrong path while your principal is the correct one. The purpose of knowledge is to open up ur horizon and broaden ur perspective of this crazy world we live in. And not to generalise and ostracise others and cut urself from the world.
Islam is inclucive and not exclusive. Travel and you will see all kinds of Muslims all around the world, living their life in all kind of societies in all corners of the globe. From the indonesian maids in Taiwan, to the yak herders in northern India.
Knowledge is inclusive and not exclusive. Travel and you will see all kinds of people. We are just sooooo small. Soooo freaking small. So be humble.
